Codeyoung Integrates AI Across Its entire K-12 Curriculum

Bengaluru, India - August 22, 2026 - Codeyoung, a live 1:1 online education platform for K-12 students, today announced that artificial intelligence instruction is now integrated across its entire curriculum, spanning math, coding, and its other subject tracks — not confined to a single standalone AI course.

The change reflects a shift in how the company approaches AI education for children. Rather than treating AI literacy as an elective add-on, Codeyoung now builds AI concepts and hands-on application directly into its core math and coding lessons, so students learn not only what AI is, but how to apply it to real-world problems as part of their regular coursework.

"Kids don't need a separate class to understand AI — they need to see how it connects to what they're already learning," the company said in a statement announcing the change. "Whether a student is working through a coding project or a math problem, they're now also learning how AI tools apply to that same work, in context, rather than as an isolated topic."

The update extends across Codeyoung's live 1:1 instruction model, which pairs certified mentors with individual students from kindergarten through grade 12. The company's coding curriculum spans block-based programming, text-based languages including Python, Java, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, and a dedicated Python AI and machine learning track, while its math curriculum covers School Math aligned to multiple international standards (including US Common Core, GCSE, CBSE, and ICSE), Vedic Math, and Logical Reasoning.

Codeyoung is STEM.org accredited and has delivered more than 100,000 live classes to over 10,000 students through a network of more than 500 certified mentors.

The move comes as schools and education platforms broadly grapple with how — and when — to introduce AI literacy to younger students, with many treating it as a bolt-on subject rather than something woven into existing instruction. Codeyoung's approach positions AI fluency as a byproduct of everyday math and coding practice rather than a separate curriculum track.

Parents interested in the company's live online math classes for kids can find more information, including a free trial class, on Codeyoung's website.
